                        THERE'S JUST ONE PROBLEM
There is no MPE/iX command called GIMME, or anything like it.  If you
ask HELP for something that doesn't exist, it will assume you made a
mistake.  Then it will show you an error message and wait for you to
make another choice.

But, let's pretend that typing HELP GIMME really could give you a HELP
entry for the command GIMME.  It's easier to start with something that
looks familiar.

   IF MPE/iX HAD A COMMAND CALLED GIMME, HELP COULD TELL YOU ABOUT IT
    You'll see the colon (:) prompt at the left edge of your screen.

:                        =========> this tells you you're in MPE/iX
:help                    =========> you typed HELP (lowercase works)
:help RETURN             =========> you just pressed RETURN
                            ======> you'll see the first HELP
                                    screen and the & prompt at the
>                                   lower left of your screen.
>gimme                      ======> you typed the name of a command
>gimme RETURN               ======> and you pressed RETURN
